Corylopsis multiflora Hance

Modern name

Corylopsis multiflora Hance

Synonyms

C. wilsonii Hemsl.

See C. wilsonii, page 721. This species was introduced by Wilson to Veitch’s Coombe Wood nursery in 1900, but it is doubtful whether it ever spread into gardens, nor has the species so far been introduced under its earlier and correct name. The key character of C. multiflora is the very small calyx.
