Davidiaceae
A genus of a single species (two in some interpretations) native to W. China. It is thought to derive from the same ancestral stock as the Cornaceae, Nyssaceae and Araliaceae, but is sufficiently distinct from these to rank as a monotypic family.
Some names used by Bean have now been superseded and are no longer familiar.
